Basic qualifications:
BS or BA.
Ten (10) year sales and/or marketing experience.
Experience managing/leading teams.
Management experience in commercial pharmaceuticals.
Capability of analyzing trends to identify opportunities to realize maximum results.
Capable of translating marketing plans into sales tactics.
Ability to lead across matrix to deliver coordinated strategies and to drive execution of growth opportunities.
Thorough understanding of the marketing discipline.
Proven ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Strategic Thinking.
Analytical Skills.
Business Acumen.

Preferred qualifications:
Multiple customer segment types (Corporate owned, hospitals, independent), stakeholders, direct reports and roles require exceptional planning, coordination and resource allocation skills.
Thorough understanding of Puerto Rico market dynamics and trends that influence access or performance.
Understanding of payer needs.

Lead General Pharma (Respiratory, CVMU, CNS) Sales and Marketing organization to deliver net sales objectives.
Develop strategies to meet patient needs and meet/exceed sales and profit goals.
Maximize synergies across General Pharma portfolio.
Successful sales operational leadership including talent management, incentive planning, and resource allocation.
Build values based and customer focused sales culture.
Prepare for launch of key new products and line extensions.
Lead a team of Sales and Marketing staff.
As a key member of the Puerto Rico Leadership Team committee contributes and participates in the direction and results of the company.
