Charter Sales ‘Commercial Jets’ - Based in Uniondale, New York
Reporting to the Director North America, you will be based in our U.S. office in Long Island, New York; the position involves selling commercial jet / airliner charter flights that may operate anywhere in the world to ACS customers located across the United States and Canada.
The duties include project managing ACS charter flight series throughout the continent (lots of travel for those that want it!) handling inbound charter flight enquiries, and building up a list of new potential clients to grow the company’s portfolio of business. The role involves handling charter enquiries from quotation stage to the wheels touching the ground at the final destination. No 2 days are ever the same!!
Training for the role will initially be done in our London HQ (England) which will require the candidate to live in England for the first 3 months (so only candidates that accept this training requirement need apply) – accommodation will be provided free of charge in one of the Air Charter Service training academy apartments overlooking the river Thames!
Building relationships and managing existing ACS clients. Business Development & the generation of a portfolio of new clients from cold calling. Buying charter flights in North America on behalf of other ACS offices around the world. Handling enquiries for clients from first call to the wheels touching down. Achievement of revenue targets
Previous proactive sales experience preferable within the aviation sector but not essential Ideally educated to Bachelor level but not essential Verbal and written fluency in business English required Passion for aviation and an interest in making things happen on time.
