The Commercial Manager demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will manage issues within functional area of expertise, be involved in process improvement, and contribute to the overall business success.
Responsible for all aspects of proposal generation including scope development, specification compliance, cost estimating, risk management and transactional pricing
Provide support to sales teams in customer negotiations and issue resolution
Lead the transactional deal process, structuring commercially and technically sound deals
Provide leadership during the deal review process to ensure that all technical and commercial risk points and risk mitigation strategy are properly incorporated in the development of the scope, cost and proposal wording
Review of customer terms and conditions and actively participate in contract negotiations with Customers
Ensure compliance with the risk management process
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Industrial and/or Energy market segments
Ability and willingness to travel as required
Possess a valid driver’s license and willing to submit to a check of your driving record

Sales or proposal development experience with industrial power systems or drives and controls equipment and services
