We are seeking applicants for Commercial Sales Development Specialist in Honeywell's Building Control Contractor business. As a Sales Development Specialist, you will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with key commercial accounts in Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana and based out of Texas.

The Building Control Trade business provides products to customers through a network of distributors with economizer control and actuation, smoke & fire control-damper actuation, energy-saving temperature controls, VAV control and actuation, boiler control, advanced air delivery and ventilation, enhanced equipment control and temperature, humidity and pressure sensors.
As a critical member of the team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth of Honeywell commercial HVAC control products through Honeywell distributors while working directly with contractor customers and consulting engineers.
Our extensive line of controls includes building automation, field devices, pneumatics, digital thermostats, water products, DDC control systems and burner/boiler controllers. Honeywell International is a $31-billion diversified technology and manufacturing global leader.
Achieve annual sales and profitability targets.
Develop marketing and sales programs for territory growth.
Contractor Sales Calls.
End User and Consultant Engineer Sales Calls.
Provide product training to distributor reps and HVAC contractors.
Attend open houses, trade show events, etc.
Create and execute annual sales plan for the territory leveraging internal Honeywell resources to maximize sales growth.
Establish and build strong distributor, contractor and engineer relationships.
Coordinate with other team members to maximize sales coverage of the commercial markets.
Ability to travel 50 percent or more is required.
High School / GED
Minimum of 3 years of direct sales experience.
Minimum of 3 years of HVAC or industrial sales experience.
Tridium AX certification.
Outside/external customer sales experience (working with new and existing accounts).
Demonstrated experience in creating and executing successful client relationships and territory plans.
Commercial HVAC experience is preferred.
Influencing and negotiation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a matrix- team environment.
A diplomatic approach to conflict resolution.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
