Job Description

Develop and implement worldwide sourcing strategies which will provide superior products, optimize the supplier base, provide improved customer service level and minimize risk at the best cost possible.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering and Science from an accredited school and six (6) years applicable experience.
Achieve worldwide supplier quality, delivery, lead time and cost performance goals on complex/strategic commodities.
Solves complex worldwide supplier quality problems and improves worldwide supplier manufacturing and business processes.
Identifies, researches and implements new materials and manufacturing technologies.
Company expert on complex commodity.
Conducts commodity specific competitor and industry analysis to identify cost, material selection, manufacturing techniques and materials sourcing to improve the company’s competitive position.
Achieves commodity inventory goals.
Lead supplier development teams.
Responsible for work direction of the worldwide matrix commodity team.
Implements worldwide leveraging and contracting opportunities.
Leads and coordinates resources in the acquisition of materials for new and existing product programs.
Lead worldwide commodity team(s) to achieve goals.
Identify, evaluate, select and manage worldwide supplier base with particular emphasis on business strategies.
Maintains conduct consistent with company policy, division operating procedures, accepted practice and applicable state and federal regulations.

Job Requirement

Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering. MBA, and/or Supply Chain emphasis desired.
