Communications Associates support government public affairs and/or large programs with high quality communications materials. They create and edit documents and help communicate strategic messages to diverse stakeholder groups including key government and private sector organizations. Position is located in Annapolis Junction, MD.
2 or more years of relevant work experience with a focus in technical writing and strategic communications
Outstanding writing and communications skills
Experience developing communications strategies and/or stakeholder management plans for the Government
Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular PowerPoint
Passion / interest in homeland security
Communications with large, diverse stakeholder groups
Must be flexible and adaptable
Must have experience prioritizing multiple items at once
Bachelor's Degree required
US Citizenship required and ability to obtain a security clearance
Additional Preferred Skills:
Consulting experience on a large scale Federal Program
Active security clearance
