NorthEast Treatment Centers is social services agency in Philadelphia is seeking a full-time Communications Coordinator to develop content for and oversee the dissemination of internal/external communications. The goal of this position is to help achieve across-the-board organizational goal of heightening the agency's profile within its client/employee base, surrounding communities and engaging potential employees to accommodate growth in our workforce. The Communications Coordinator will research and develop written and other content, and will be responsible for reaching our community with this content and assessing the efficiency and effectiveness of these communications tools. Spanish language skills not required but a plus.
Interfaces with external marketing strategists and program directors and staff within various departments at 15 area locations.
1. Launch and manage social media presence on sites like Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube etc.
2. Research and develop content for a variety of media types including a quarterly newsletter and website blog.
4. Responsible for creating and expediting targeted email blasts and online marketing efforts as outlined in our communications plan. Monitor and update program directors and external marketing strategists of effectiveness and campaigns.
7. Other duties as assigned
A Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or English/writing is required. Experience in marketing, human resources, or communications preferred. Social media experience required. Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe software suites. Advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to present information and ideas clearly. Effective interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills.
Experience in online marketing, advertising and public relations strategies. Requires a team player with ability to work with multiple groups in a fast-paced, high energy, multi-faceted environment. Must be able to multi-task and be deadline oriented. Must be reliable, punctual, professional and committed to providing excellent customer service in a team-oriented environment. An interest in or experience with rehabilitation treatment, government services, and not-for-profit organizations. Must have valid Driver's License and transportation. Photography experience preferred.
Salary range $42,500-$49,500 depending on experience
