We are seeking a talented and experienced communication professional to lead our global employee communications network to drive engagement, alignment and community. This talent would join a passionate team focused on elevating the communication cadence and system within DuPont and will report directly to the global Center of Excellence Leader.
Lead enterprise-wide employee communications
Plan, develop and execute strategic communications which support company and functional long-term goals, initiatives and projects
Shape a dynamic employee communications function and team. Manage and mentor staff to proficiently handle responsibilities and promote professional development.
Drive internal communication strategies and plans that engage employees with the company’s vision, business strategies and values.
Create effective employee communications processes and practices. Leverage and integrate technology that will increase the impact of employee communications.
Evaluate existing employee communications vehicles and make changes necessary to more effectively engage employees. Explore enhanced employee feedback mechanisms.
Provide strategic counsel to senior executives, and leverage senior management in communications.
Oversee strategic planning and support for internal business partners. Infuse the corporate brand and messaging into communications.
Engage with other communications department functions to align strategy, messaging and activities with broader department efforts.
Lead planning and coordination for company-wide meetings, including forums with senior management.
Lead employee communications crisis and business continuity preparedness and response.
Establish and track metrics that correlate employee communications programs to employee engagement and organizational performance.
BA/BS in Business Management, Organization Development, Communication, Psychology or related field.
10+ years public relations, corporate communications, or human resources experience specializing in organization development, change management and organizational communication.
Experience communicating directly and providing communications counsel to executive leadership.
Experience with developing and executing a global employee communications strategy.
Proven experience building business relationships with all levels of the organization.
Excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills.
Works well independently and with a team.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and successfully manage in a rapidly changing environment.
Demonstrated ability and execute to develop communication strategies in support of global function/businesses.
Available to work special extended hours to support weekend/holiday events and critical periods, such as company crisis/emergencies.
