Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Communications Manager will play an essential role in the communicating the hospital’s mission through it print and electronic publications. The Communications Manager will have responsibility for writing, editing, and producing the content of newsletters, annual reports, brochures, and other internal and external hospital communications. You will also be responsible for overseeing the distribution of these various communications. You will work closely with the Assistant Director of Communications.


The successful candidate will be a motivated and self directed individual with excellent communication skills who can effectively build relationships at all levels. Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and follow up on multiple project deadlines and details will be vital to your success. Minimum 5 years professional experience in writing or communications project management role; experience in healthcare, publishing, news or communications preferred.

Experience with direct mail projects and oversight of mail house vendor as well as experience with copy editing, proofreading, and approving documents and blue prints for final printing is essential.

Expertise with Word, PPT, and Excel is required.

Bachelor’s degree also required, Master’s degree preferred .
