ICF Interactive is currently seeking an experienced Communications Manager to join our team in Rockville, MD working with our Marketing Health team. The Communications Manager is responsible for managing project planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating for a large Health client program. The consultant will serve as the point of contact for the client, coordinate internal team efforts, and track & monitor all program activities within their projects. The consultant will also mentor both project and junior team members and provide content and technical expertise across their projects. Additional responsibilities include:
Act as a subject matter expert by advising and strategizing with team members to implement and enhance a partnership engagement strategy
Build working and collaborative relationships with team members across ICF Interactive
Conceptualize, coordinate, and prepare client-ready products that meet both company and client standards and needs
Clear communication to stake holders regarding project direction, progress, and issues
Deliver quality contract deliverables according to specified timelines
Acclimate with client specific missions and content for the purpose of informing the appropriate audiences
Manage and be responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of all activities within assigned projects and task orders including preparing, identifying, and resolving issues within the assignments
Collaborate across program projects and tasks
Required skills & experience:
Bachelor's degree, required (e.g., communications, marketing, public relations, or advertising)
8 years of professional marketing communications experience
Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
Additional professional skills & experience
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; detailed oriented
Responsive to feedback
Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision making capabilities
