This position reports into the Appeals and Grievances (A&G team) team within UnitedHealthcare Benefit Operations and will lead internal communication for A&G; develop and implement strategic and tactical planes for internal communications initiatives aligned to the overall A&G business strategy.
â€¢ Partner with SVP of A&G on developing presentation materials on business updates for executive and C-suite leaders.
â€¢ Design, develop, execute and monitor the overall communication strategy for A&G.
â€¢ Primary liaison with internal stakeholders â€“ provide accurate communication and updates.
â€¢ Collaborates with business leaders to respond accurately to leadership questions and directs written response and
â€¢ Proactively builds effective relationships and positive communication with business leaders to ensure readiness to respond to quick turnaround deliverable internal communications requests.
â€¢ Develops and manages budgets for internal communications projects.
â€¢ A&G internal relationship development- proactively builds effective relationships and positive communication with business leaders
â€¢ Partner with A&G leaders in developing the overall engagement strategy, coordinate with management team on executing the strategy.
5+ years Healthcare insurance experience (Strongly preferred)
5 years of communications or corporate writing and editing experience within a matrix organization at a leadership level
5+ years experience analyzing and interpreting business metrics (financial or technical data) with the ability to communicate information for various audience levels.
5 years experience building relationships with internal stakeholders.
Candidate must be fully proficient with the full suite of MS Office: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio required
Intellectual curiosity - An ability to understand the business, gather and interpret information, translate into communication
Proven experience building internal work relationships
Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism or Public Relations highly desired
