The Communications Manager will execute a variety of corporate communications programs and functions, including internal communications.
Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:
Plan, develop and execute a variety of communications projects and programs.
Research, develop, write and disseminate communications, including corporate-level presentations and materials.
Manage branding initiatives for corporate and global business lines.
Support internal communications programs, including executive communications, the company intranet, cross-functional department writing and internal functions/events and social media.
Develop and launch video and speech scripting; brochures and datasheets, along with whitepapers and digital fulfillment (i.e., eBooks) writing and website content design.
Collaborate across corporate communications team members on initiatives involving branding, positioning and supporting materials, tying into such functional areas as public relations, analyst relations, marketing communications, web and social media.
Work closely with executives, HR, IT and other departments to help ensure effective, streamlined communications.
A minimum 5 years of experience working in communications and/or marketing positions in the technology or enterprise software industry.
A four-year college degree with a concentration in communications, public relations, marketing or related area or the equivalent years of work experience.
Ability to understand, interpret and explain complex concepts in simple terms.
Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills, with the ability to effectively create messages that resonate across varying audiences.
Strong time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Effective team contributor and player, with the ability to work independently, as necessary.
Strong MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) skills.
Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC and Social Security verification.
Successful completion of a credit check necessary for those travel-related roles that will require the candidate to obtain the appropriate credit line required to travel.
Experience with internal communications and social media.
