Responsibilities: conceptualize, write and/or edit (for presentation of quantitative information, style, grammar, completeness, harmony with other office communications) professional/technical publications such as reports of the results of surveys; maintain and provide quality control for all communications within the office.
Minimum qualifications: bachelor’s degree or higher in English, communications, or other area involving good practices in communication; documented experience of at least one year in technical writing/editing; experience with basic web site design/posting; experience with computer applications such as MS Office; excellent communication, planning and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and to function independently; ability to work with a variety of constituencies; demonstrated ability to manage project timelines, specifications and workflow.
Preferred qualifications: experience in an academic setting producing and editing publications, presentations, and other communications concerning higher education assessment or institutional research; experience with projects involving institutional effectiveness, educational outcomes, and productivity measures.Send cover letter, resume, copy of transcript(s), and the names and contact information for at least three references to:
