This position consistently contributes to the department in planning, developing, and executing coordinated communication deliverables that support overall communication plan objectives.

1.Under supervision and when working independently, provides support in creating and executing quality communication deliverables, including but not limited to, assisting in business and/or department strategy communication, company news and information, and policies/procedures.
2.Integrates with other communication resources to ensure message alignment and process consistency. May participate in Communicator Network or similar internal communication-focused teams intended to share best practices and align communication efforts across the company.
3.Aids in preparing print and electronic communication deliverables including presentations, communications guides, handbooks, scripts, posters, signage, websites, flyers, manuals, and similar media.
4.Assists in researching and developing content for internal communication channels.
5.Coordinates editorial content for the internal news website including reviewing article submissions, coordinating with writer, proofing, and producing final HTML format.
6.Assists in managing content on appropriate and/or assigned internal websites. May contribute to preparing content for external websites.
7.Creates graphics and layouts and coordinates with internal design and marketing teams as required to prepare specific deliverables.
8.Compiles audience data reports for communications campaigns and assists in periodic measurement and reporting of communication effectiveness.
9.Assists in distribution of email communications including distribution group list creation, selection, and maintenance as required.
10.Provides project management for a variety of activities.
11.Performs other duties as assigned or apparent.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
A thorough knowledge of business, journalism or communication as normally obtained tough the completion of a bachelor's degree in a communication discipline (PR, Marketing, etc.), Business, or related field.
2-3 years of internal or communications experience in growth company with specific experience in planning and creating communication deliverables.
Proven skills in successfully applying the communication planning process in supporting business requirements and producing communication deliverables. Demonstrated success in business writing, proofreading, editing, and desktop publishing.
Working knowledge of the software packages used for developing communications deliverables (eg. Adobe CS4, PowerPoint). . Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint highly desirable.
Must be able to execute in fast-paced and complex environment involving multiple subsidiaries, deadlines, conflicting priorities and simultaneous projects.
Innovative thinker able to apply analysis and creativity to problem solving and solutions.
Able to effectively contribute while working independently with minimal supervision.
