DUTIES

Coordinate and/or manage projects for Communications team.Coordinate various centennial-related projects to ensure key deliverables are on schedule. Prepare update reports for Centennial Steering Committee. Provide staff support for Steering Committee. Act as primary liaison with video production company and "executive producer" of centennial video to ensure key personnel are interviewed and filmed. Assist with historic research for video (and other centennial projects) as needed. Act as primary staff coordinator for 2015 Invitational Conference, including liaison with invited speakers. Prepare conference program and related publications. Work with Legal unit to resolve any copyright issues. Assist Director, Office of Communications with publications, website, social media, talking points, etc. Assist with nbme.org redesign. Provide support for NBME Renewal Communications team and develop content for staff education on Renewal efforts and progress. Provide ad hoc support for all NBME-hosted events, such as Annual Meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degreeMinimum of 5 years experience in internal communications and/or public relations.Strong and effective verbal and written communications and presentation skills.Excellent editing skills; some experience with video production desirable.Experience with website design and content management desired.Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
