-Provide feedback on system engineering, test, and technical support
-Have an understanding of the acquisition planning, system requirements development, systems architecture development, systems integration, and test, procurement and Fleet/Shore sites installations
-Support evaluations of technologies that support system design to reduce risk, schedule and cost
-Develop validation plans for system elements and requirements
-Knowledge on communications systems supporting Tomahawk Strike Network
-Knowledge of communication protocols and the interpretation of those protocols into requirements for interface processors
-Understand the COMSEC process both acquisition and integration
-Provide technical guidance and support for near term and future system upgrades and installation
-Provide guidance for procedures to improve system engineering activities
-Support troubleshooting and assisting in the repairs of comms/system issues in support of identified casualties
-Monitor system performance and product assurance
-Support test events requiring communications support
-Participate in system integration planning, testing, and reporting

A minimum of six (6) years of experience specifically in the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of:
- SATCOM (EHF, UHF) equipment
- MD-1324A, WSC-3, RT1828/29/30, DAMA, DMR
- Cryptographic equipment
- TACLANE Classic/E-100, KG-84A, KIV-7HSB, KIV-7M
- TVS Digital Patch Panel
- Working with the following: EHF, TSN, SIPRNET, STE
Full Systems engineering lifecycle

EDUCATION REQUIRED: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations Research, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related technical field from an accredited college or university.

ADDITIONAL CERTIFICATION/TRAINING: An additional postgraduate degree in a business, management, engineering or related discipline will be considered equivalent to four (4) years of experience.

CLEARANCE: Able to acquire DoD Secret Clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
