Provides management of Community Health Center Outpatient Clinic.
Bachelors in Business, finance, or related field required. Prefer Master Degree or higher. Minimum of 4 years of on-going supervisory experience required.
Excellent written/oral communication skills required.
Proficiency in RPMS Electronic Health Record, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required.
TB test required.
Provides direction, management and support to Community Health Center and provides direct supervision to staff.
Maintains integrity of programs ensuring quality provision of care and works cooperatively with all members of the BBAHC healthcare team.
Works collaboratively with Nursing Services Manager for on-going program development, evaluation, review, and improvement to promote standard of excellence for care at BBAHC. Works to set program goals and implement measures to meet corporate aim statements developed by Nursing Services Manager and BBAHC Administration.
Assists the Nursing Services Manager with community and referral development activities and outreach efforts.
Works with Preceptors and Nursing Services Manager to assure ongoing staff development and in-service needs are met.
Prepares performance evaluations for Community Health Center staff and other assigned program coordinator/case managers.
Will support, adhere to, and carry out all policies, directives, and safety procedures of BBAHC.
Will assist in writing, implementing and reviewing new and existing policies and procedures for the departments and will maintain an ongoing review of changing regulatory requirements that might necessitate a change in policy.
Works with Nursing Services Manager to develop business plans.
Manages grants applicable to the CHC.
Will participate and/or chair appropriate BBAHC committees.
Maintain Basic Life Support certification.
Develops departmental budget submissions to align with the BBAHC strategy map.
Mentors, coaches, and counsels staff to develop excellent contribution to the BBAHC mission and assist in understanding the individual’s role in the strategic plan. Fully documents staff issues. Resolves staff issues at the lowest level possible. Keeps supervisor aware of staff issues. Develops and timely submits annual staff performance evaluations aligned to the BBAHC strategy map.
Maintains full compliance with the laws, regulations, grant terms, and BBAHC policies pertinent to the division/department. Ensures department activities meet all applicable accrediting body standards and CMS Conditions of Participation. Actively avoids fraud, waste, and abuse. Seeks methods and activities to enhance BBAHC revenues.
Works with Nursing Services Manager to direct departmental Performance Improvement initiatives. Tracks and reports accomplishments. Develops and oversees Quality Calendar activities.
Responds to all Customer Comments and/or RMEs presented in a complete and timely manner.
Ensures department procedures align with and support organizational policies.
Performs other duties as assigned.
