The Position You ’ll work with our (totally awesome) Sr. Social Media Manager to tend to Birchbox ’s two sets of stakeholders: our customers and our brand partners. You ’ll work with Team Content to manage the Birchbox and Birchbox Man voice across multiple platforms. You ’ll be responsible for working with our existing social community, enlarging it, and getting additional value out of it.
You ’ll also work with our team of Campaign Strategists to create custom social media campaigns for our brand partners. You ’ll project manage each campaign from idea generation to production to tracking and reporting. Specific Responsibilities will include: Campaign Creation: Working with our Campaign Strategists you ’ll create custom social media campaigns for our brand partners based on a host of goals: fan acquisition, consumer education, content generation, channel or product launches, etc. Campaign Project Management: You ’ll coordinate between our brand partnerships team, creative team, Content team, and email marketing team to make sure campaigns are created and executed flawlessly.
Campaign Tracking and Reporting: You ’ll work closely with our Campaign Strategists and Analytics team to make sure that the results of each campaign are presented to our brands in innovation and informative ways. Content Promotion: Our content team produces a ton of fun and witty content including blog posts, magazine articles, and videos. You will help make sure our subscribers, fans, and followers consume and engage with this content across all of our social channels. Community Management: Our subscribers, fans, and followers have a lot to say!
Whether they ’re giving feedback on their monthly box, asking questions about a lipstick shade, or commenting on Emma Stone ’s latest look, we want to engage with them! You will be at the ready to answer their questions, help them pick the right products, and teach them about Birchbox. Blogger Program: You ’ll work with our Sr. Social Media manager to build and enagement with our evergrowing community of Birchbloggers.
You hellip; hellip;hold a degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or Advertising and have exceptional writing skills hellip;are 2-3 years out of college and have spent those years working at a magazine, e-commerce company, or a creative/digital/marketing/advertising agency hellip; believe in the importance of monitoring the Return on Investment (ROI) that social media brings to a company. hellip;are always signing up for new social networks and figuring out ways to engage in new channels. hellip;are supremely organized, and can juggle a million different things at once. hellip;have exceptional writing skills and an editorial eye and a knack for short, snappy copy.
