CollabNet is seeking an analytically-minded inbound marketer responsible for driving CollabNet’s social channels, including blogs, forums, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube. The ideal candidate naturally promotes themselves and others online, engages prospects & customers, partners, thought leaders, and industry players. The candidate also can strategically craft social campaigns to drive buzz and awareness.
•Develop and execute on a social media strategy aligned with CollabNet’s brand and business goals
•Drive day-to-day management of CollabNet’s social media, blog, and community sites, increasing social media awareness
•Implement and optimize our inbound marketing strategies, focusing on evangelizing and generating goodwill for our brand, improving SEO, and growing traffic & leads
•Work collaboratively with our thought leaders and executives to create and optimize great content (blog posts, video, infographics, images, etc.)
•Grow and measure inbound traffic from social channels
•Actively participate and evangelize CollabNet in external and internal public communities
•Be able to create, maintain and analyze reports about community growth and engagement
•Use tools and content management systems like Google Analytics, Drupal, Wordpress, Marketo
Desired Skills & Experience
•Independent self-starter who is a natural communicator, a strong cross-team driver, and has 3-4 years of social/online marketing experience in high tech
•Excellent understanding of SEO knowledge as it relates to social media which includes content link building strategy
•An engaging and articulate writing style that makes technical detail fun to read
•Creative thinker who is not afraid to bring new ideas and strategies to the table
•Highly analytical with ability to back up ideas with data
•Pays attention to detail and is goal orientated
•Some experience in CRM, analytics and marketing automation software is preferable. Preferably, skills using Salesforce.com, Google Analytics and marketing automation systems (Marketo).
