Flexible hours and training will be provided for all assigned tasks. You will be working in a fun and creative environment with the satisfaction of supporting a growing movement across the nation. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain experience working in a non-profit and join an enthusiastic and collaborative culture! The intern will learn invaluable skills in qualitative research, grant seeking and fundraising. You will also learn how to creatively problem solve around fundraising challenges – a must-have skill in development!
You have a passion for Playworks mission and long-term vision on behalf of children and the importance of play. You are detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task. Proficiency in Microsoft Word is required, experience with Salesforce is a plus, but is not required. You have excellent communication skills and are able to work independently and on a team.
Flexible. Typically Monday to Friday within the hours of 9:00am - 5:00pm.
This can be flexible for the right candidate. We ask for 10-12 hours a week for a semester (3-4 months).
