This position will be responsible for all K-12 assessment grants at MWCC and Fitchburg Public Schools, Summer Up, SAT prep initiatives and Career Readiness initiatives.
Master degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Business or related field preferred
Bachelor degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Business or related field required
Minimum of five years experience in hiring, training, and effective supervision of staff from multicultural backgrounds required
Well developed written and verbal skills to present and exchange complex academic information to diverse set of individuals and groups
Experience in budget and contract administration
Working knowledge of Mass state curriculum frameworks and assessment system
Demonstrated knowledge of Mass state Workforce Investment Board system
Experience with curriculum development and knowledge of K-12 and post-secondary curriculum standards
Knowledge of workforce and training issues, ability to meet complex goals for contract compliance
Experience in community outreach and knowledge of community social service systems
Ability to work evenings and travel as needed
With guidance from Assistant Dean, responsible for the direct administration and service implementation of all K-12 Assessment Programs (school year and summer). This currently includes DESE grants FC 598, 593, 626, 627, 596, 597, 619, 592, 632, 625.

Responsible for the direct administration and service implementation of all PSAT and SAT initiatives.
Work directly with Grants Department to submit grant applications pertaining to K-12 Assessment and other Employment/Career Readiness initiatives for high school and out of school youth.
Compile accurate data, write and submit semi-annual/annual and other reports as required by funding sources regarding performance and fiscal obligations for K-12 Assessment programs.
Primarily responsible for supervising, training, and evaluating Summer Up/ MCAS / SAT prep project staff as required by MWCC and funded grants.
Oversee monthly expenditures and provide overall fiscal oversight of programs.
Establish and secure funding for Summer UP programming.
Work with Database Coordinator to identify, document, and track project participants and activities.
Act as liaison to community to include representing projects on North Central Youth Council and North Central Workforce Investment Board.
Work closely with North Central Workforce Investment Board to secure funding for future initiatives.
Develop relationships with local employers to develop and sustain internship placements and other employment initiatives.
Participate in meetings on and off campus pertaining to the projects, students and staff.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
