Provides advanced administrative support including preparation of correspondence, meeting preparation and minutes, donor and special event database management, typing, filing, answering telephone, updating calendars and coordinating meetings for the Development and Community Relations departments. Prepares invoices and keeps accurate records of all department check requests, invoices and purchase orders. Prepares monthly employee newsletter and ensures accurate and timely distribution. Assists in the maintenance of the LRH website. Works with director and webmaster (outside vendor) on changes to website. Assists with coordination of various special events. Maintains a press release binder. Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with administrative staff, department directors, Boards, physicians, donors, vendors, and the public. Performs miscellaneous support duties including coordinating meeting arrangements, food service requests, room set up and preparation of meeting materials and minutes as needed.

A minimum of two - five years executive/administrative support experience (preferably in a resource development and community relations office) and/or Associates or Bachelor’s Degree. On the-job orientation in the health field helpful. Strong computer skills required including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Publisher). Strong database skills required, preferably Raiser’s Edge Fundraising Software. Strong written and verbal communication skills. The ability to multi-task and prioritize workload. Attention to detail is critical in this position. Excellent proofreading.
