We are looking for a savvy, creative person to join our sales team in the Long Island area. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisted living, possess excellent knowledge of the industry and be able to market our senior living services to the referral community. This position requires both inside sales and outreach.. If you have excellent communication skills and developed resources on Long Island, this position will be an exciting opportunity for you. Tuesday thru Saturday schedule.
Some Responsibilities include
Making regular marketing calls
Creating an effective resident referral program
Taking prospective Residents and/or families on a tour of the facility.
Maintain active database
Liaisoning between the Bristal and community referral sources.
Regular follow up with referral sources. Outreach will include doctors, elder law attorneys, hospitals, rehabs, and the like.
Creating and/or Hosting Marketing/Sales events.
Frequent networking with outside referral sources.
Belonging to and attending SUN (Senior Umbrella Network) additional local Community Associations
Maintaining weekly traffic, outreach and census reports.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing preferred.
Experience in an Assisted Living environment
Must have the ability to “close” the deal.
Professional image and an eye for excellence in detail
Excellent telephone and communication skills.
Ability to relate well to the senior population.
Great organizational skills with the ability to concentrate on many tasks at once.
Computer literate with knowledge of MS Office
Must be a Notary Public or commitment to obtain license within 6 months of hire.
