The Community Relations Manager reports directly to the Director of Marketing and is responsible for conceptualizing, developing and facilitating the implementation of projects related to Loretto Hospital being a valued neighbor in the communities it serves. The Community Relations Manager is required to work successfully with representatives from the community including businesses, organizations, churches, schools, etc. in the development of health events and programs designed address the needs of the community as well as to build awareness about the hospital and the services it offers.
Additionally, this position will assist the Loretto Hospital Foundation - Foundation Administrator in the area of administrative management and daily operations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Health Sciences or related field
Five (5) years of experience in community outreach; volunteer development and coordination; and, financial management for nonprofit organizations including general accounting policies and procedures related to gift management.
Must possess excellent written, verbal and presentation communications skills; strong interpersonal and public relations skills; organized, detail-oriented, adept at multitasking multiple projects
Excellent copywriting and copyediting experience, considered a plus
