Related Experience Required
This position is responsible for analyzing, proposing, implementing, and maintaining competitive, cost-effective, and legally-compliant compensation and retirement programs. Provides technical and functional expertise in one or more general areas of compensation. Conducts salary surveys, researches and analyzes competitive salary information. Conducts market based job analyses and communicates findings and financial impact to management team. Assists employees seeking compensation related information when appropriate. Provides Compensation and Pension support in the preparation of reports, moderately complex spreadsheets, responding to salary surveys, and job descriptions.

Qualifications:

Requires: Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office, intermediate word processing knowledge, excellent math skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. Strong knowledge of traditional benchmark job family hierarchy, and working knowledge of application of FLSA, ADA, ERISA and other compensation compliance regulations.

Education: The incumbent in this position should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or the equivalent with three years of experience in Human Resources. Special skills that are required include research methodology, analysis techniques, proposal writing, and knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets and effective oral and written communications.

Experience: Three years of experience in Compensation/Human Resources. Preferably in a healthcare setting. Licensure/Certification/Registration Requirements: Certified Compensation Professional designation preferred but not required
