Consult with management associates throughout the organization to discuss and present compensation recommendations and analysis.
Assist in the research, design, development, implementation, communication and ongoing administration of a variety of compensation programs and plans targeting all levels of associates at all locations.
Provide management analysis, manage and administer various compensation programs, such as incentive and commissions, salary planning, reward, bonus and recognition programs.
Assist in the design, development and maintenance of various compensation policies.
Recommend and implement changes to CB2 and Crate and Barrel’s total rewards system.
Create and model guidelines for merit increases and promotion offers.
Act as subject matter expert for the department.
Support all efforts and initiatives across all business channels in an effort to maximize company sales growth and profitability.
Manage the process for data modeling and cost projection related to incentives and incentive plan design.
Conduct compensation surveys and evaluate jobs to determine salary grades and classifications are appropriate.
Conduct competitive market analysis and consult with senior management and Human Resources representatives on compensation-related matters.
Develop individual salary recommendations.
Prepare payroll budgets and recommendations.
Participate in annual compensation surveys.
Prepare data modeling, statistical analysis, incentive pay programs, and costing of base pay.
Monitor and oversee the annual performance, incentive and merit program for all associates.
Support management by providing pay solutions and providing salary recommendations and offers for promotions, transfers, new hires, and company re-organizations.
Develop and interpret guidelines for managers on compensation issues and pay practices.
Perform cost analysis on different compensation scenarios and develop maturity curves and regression pay models for equity pay analysis.
Analyze organizational pay practices and make recommendations for salary changes to ensure equity.
Develop reports for auditing associate data, special projects, salary surveys, and position control.
Recommend and provide solutions and strategies to meet business needs.
Develop communication on compensation goals and programs for company-wide use.
Communicate effectively and efficiently with all other company associates in both written and verbal form.
Support and advise regional and area associates, Distribution Centers, etc. by providing research and analysis for various compensation-related issues.
Ensure the HRIS systems support compensation needs and participate in weekly HRIS discussions, as needed.
Provide support to retirement department, as needed.
Minimum 3 years Compensation experience
3-5 years previous Human Resources experience
Solid project management skills with the ability to research and coordinate information efficiently
Previous experience conducting analysis on internal and external salary statistics
Expert level in Excel
Ability to run reports and analyze data
Strong focus on attention to detail; ability to work autonomously
Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
Good reading and written language skills (English)
AS/400 or Infinium system experience a plus
