The Compensation Analyst assists in the design of, as well as, the administration and communication of compensation programs, policies and procedures. The position assists in the development of compensation and incentive programs by analyzing alternatives and making recommendations based upon market practice and cost analysis of various alternatives. The position also provides guidance and training to HR professionals and line managers related to compensation.

  • Coordinate company contest review, analysis and payment process
  • Participate in Market Salary surveys
  • Provide comprehensive analysis, reporting and recommendations for assigned compensation programs
  • Market price and analyze positions and provide compensation recommendations
  • Create, monitor and update various access databases
  • Generate compensation reports and data sufficient for presentation
  • Manage the monthly/quarterly reporting and analysis of incentive payouts
  • Conduct compensation presentations and answer compensation inquiries
  • Create and maintain project schedules
  • Administer company’s salary survey reporting and analysis program
  • Administer compensation programs in a timely, organized and accurate manner
  • Consult with managers and HR partners on compensation issues
  • Conduct necessary salary range and geographic cost of labor analyses
  • Maintain internal compensation and contest website
  • All other duties as needed or required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in compensation or related areas
  • Experience with financial analysis and reporting required
  • Prior financial experience preferred
  • Organizational skills
  • Advanced computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, ACCESS, etc.
  • For new hires, must meet all FedEx Office employment qualifications in force at time of hiring, including successful passing of background check
  • For current FedEx Office team members, must meet hiring criteria for the position and transfer requirements as outlined in the Team Member Handbook

  • Ability to travel as required in order to meet with customers, vendors, other team members, and/or other business necessities
