Are you interested in using your analytical, technical, and communication skills to assist the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis Human Resources function? The Bank is seeking a Human Resources Analyst.
The ideal candidate is detailed oriented, analytic, and inquisitive about data.
In this role, you will primarily be assigned to Compensation with the ability to expand into benefits and HR information Systems projects.
You must be willing to comply with internal processes, controls, and policies in this important role while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality with the information you encounter.
Perform compensation analysis including market pricing, job evaluations, salary planning/allocations and variable pay funding.
Review and approves various compensation related requests from Bank departments (variable pay, promotions and reallocations, incentive plans, etc.)
Generate and prepare routine and ad-hoc reports.
Verify accuracy of results and provide an analysis of the data collected.
Provide analytical support and serve as a consultant, subject matter expert, and liaison for assigned tasks.
Analyze business functions and seek process improvements.
Participate in projects and performs analytical tasks in support of management. Projects involve communication and coordination with other Departments, Divisions, and Federal Reserve Banks.
Assist with testing, training, and implementations of processes and software.
Duties may include developing plans, completing risk assessments, assigning tasks, monitoring and reporting progress, and preparing necessary documentation for a variety of audiences.
Prepare and/or revise communications, including proposals, reports, presentations, and procedures for management review and approval.
Compensation Analyst I
0-3 years analytical and/or project management experience, plus High School diploma or equivalent.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, preferred.
Compensation Analyst II
3-5 years analytical and/or project management experience, plus Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of higher education and/or experience. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, preferred.
Level II position may provide training to less experienced staff and coordinates assigned projects.
Compensation Analyst III:
5+ years analytical and/or project management experience, plus Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of higher education and/or experience. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a rated field, preferred.
Level III position trains less experienced staff and leads assigned projects.
Exposure to, or work experience with, information systems such as PeopleSoft or Web Rewards.
Proven expertise in MicroSoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).
Demonstrated ability to present to management on recommendation and/or findings.
Demonstrated ability to cultivate and build strong relationships with key constituents [e.g., business lines and other support departments or entities (e.g., Financial Management, HR Technology Center, etc.)]
Strong attention to detail with the ability to diagnosis problems and troubleshoot.
