The Compensation Analyst is a part of the Total Rewards & HR Operations Function to provide compensation analytical support on a global basis. Applies solid knowledge of compensation (base, variable, equity) and data to provide analytical insight to inform compensation-related decisions and programs. Position uses technical expertise to work on complex problems where analysis requires rigorous evaluation of multiple factors and data sources; reports to Sr. Director, HR Operations.
Provides analytical compensation support on a global basis by:
Ø Performing market pricing analyses in all
Ø Participating in salary surveys and other
benchmarking data sources
Provides data and insight to conduct job evaluations and grade classifications to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness of compensation programs.
Consults with and provide advice regarding compensation related data sources and analyses that might answer complex compensation related issues or concerns.
Conducts rigorous analysis of multiple and complex data sources to create various cash compensation and equity models. Scenarios may include predictive analytics to identify future trends and risk.
Designs and implements the next generation of compensation tools to support current and future compensation initiatives.
Assists in global compensation program design, implementation, and evaluation
Generates and designs reports and tools to use in compensation-related analytics and dashboards.
3-5 years of experience in the Compensation function and exhibited solid understanding in the following practice areas (equity, base pay, variable/sales programs). Experience managing compensation projects (such as benchmarking studies/competitive analysis and modeling) and working with vendors
Strong Excel/Spreadsheet experience
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Strong quantitative analysis skills with ability to communicate findings in a clear, concise manner
Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable and unidentifiable factors
Possesses business acumen on HR matters, ability to influence, interact and work effectively across functions

Experience with tools for administration of broad-based annual compensation cycle decision support

4-year degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
