Your skill level and depth of experience will dictate the level of oversight and direction you need from the Director of Compensation and Benefits. The goal is to develop you to become the key resource for PC Connection for all salary and bonus programs and to support the business units on all compensation matters. You will actively work with all levels of management across the company making this a highly visible position.
Your key responsibilities will be the planning, developing and implementing of new and revised compensation programs, policies and procedures. You will assure through audits, reports and personal contact that company compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and government regulations.
You will spend a significant amount of time working with Company management on a variety of projects including program design, analysis and implementation of new programs, working with staff on job analysis and review of job descriptions to determine appropriate salary level and classification and developing and documenting procedures to streamline processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. You will also work with HR Managers to educate line management to include guideline interpretation and job evaluation.
You will review and approve salary increases, prepare annual merit increase data as well as manage projects such as a survey participation and analysis, and developing techniques for compiling, preparing, and presenting data in a meaningful way. Will be the resident expert on federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations to ensure company compliance.
You will have the opportunity to participate in and bring the compensation knowledge to other projects involving HRIS, Benefits, and within the HR team.
Advanced Excel skills to include building models.
Experience with Lawson a plus.
Knowledge of report writing software.
Project Management experience.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Compensation Certification preferred.
3 - 5 years of experience in the analysis, design and/or administration of compensation programs.
