ROLE STATEMENT: The Completions Enhancement Engineer will be a member of the Engineering Department responsible for providing a diverse range of technical, sales, and operational support to Calfrac’s key clients. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Completions Enhancement Engineer will focus on administrating all other Calfrac technical representatives working with the client.

•Provide effective communication with management regarding continuous improvement initiatives
•Able to participate in the development of policies and procedures to meet service requirements
•Work with all operations groups, i.e. Sales and Marketing, Engineering, Human Resources, etc. to smooth business operations
•Manage assignments to meet customer requirements to achieve corporate mandate of “Service First”
•Ensure adherence to operational policies, procedures to achieve safety objectives
•Provide leadership/mentorship and direction to members Technical Services department to meet the Corporate Code of Business ethics
•Provide technical support to Calfrac’s key clients
•Represent Calfrac at client meetings and be available to client customers
•Prepare client specific reports and/or presentations
•Assist in bid preparation
•Administrate all other Calfrac technical representatives working with the client
•Prepare fracture treatment designs
•Perform fracture simulations and mini-frac analysis
•Making relevant suggestions during treatment to improve treatment success to the customer
•Prepare post job reports and maintain client treatment data
•Understand fluid system technology
•Act as a go-between for client and Calfrac Lab
•Travel to the field for on-site technical support when required
•Perform lab an Quality Control (QC) procedures when required
•Identify and document product performance (positives and negatives)

•Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint is essential
•Bachelor of Science in Engineering
•3 – 5 years of fracturing experience
