Compliance Auditor position involves performing compliance audits for Hanger Clinic Patient Care Centers. The auditor may perform remote audits or may complete the audits on site. The auditor will travel to the PCCs for final review of the audit finding and work with the PCC staff to correct discovered deficiencies.
Conduct compliance audits as assigned using established protocols and procedures
Generate reports on findings, present findings to VP of Compliance and Business Leaders
Make recommendations and assist in implementation of corrective actions resulting from audit findings
Respond to unscheduled and/or emergency requests for audit support
Offer advice and counsel to Hanger field offices in the areas of Medicare and Medicaid compliance regulations
Perform other ancillary compliance related tasks as needed
Ability to work independently, with minimum supervision, but at the same time able to contribute to a team effort.
Ability to prioritize, produce succinct and comprehensive reports and meet deadlines.
Computer experience including Access, Excel, Outlook, and Word.
General knowledge of Orthotic and Prosthetic coding and organizational operations.
Above average knowledge of administrative and clinical workflow and private payer regulations and procedures
Extensive knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations and procedures.
Diplomatic demeanor and ability to present well.
Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Up to 50% domestic travel required.
