Duties and Responsibilities:
The Compliance Business Analyst will work with the legal and compliance teams on various regulatory initiatives. Primary responsibilities include – definition of business requirements and functional specifications for various workflow and content management initiatives, defining the future state of re-engineered processes, liaising with vendors and internal technology teams to implement packaged solutions. Implement out of the box and custom built SharePoint solutions. . Responsibilities include working with end users and development teams to understand and document business functional requirements and customize out of the box SharePoint sites to suit business needs. The successful candidate will be good at communicating across various organizational hierarchies, be able to drive requirements and testing, manage multiple projects and conflicting priorities and work with on/off shore user and tech teams.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with Legal and Compliance departments
Experience working global objectives in a large, and cross functional organizations including Operations, Marketing, Compliance, Legal and Technology
Experience in implementation and transition plan management, including implementation planning, organizational training, implementation communication, transition planning, communication, and execution
Experience and knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and KYC compliance a plus
*SharePoint (2007 and 2010) workflows and familiarity with out of box functionality
Experience with SharePoint 2010 application implementation*
Ensure project scope and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
Strong background and knowledge of all aspects of application testing – unit, component, regression, functional, systems integration and user acceptance testing.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS or a related field
