BarkerGilmore is seeking candidates with significant experience in life insurance company compliance to serve as a Compliance Officer to our client and their operating company affiliates. The position will focus on all aspects of compliance for both primary life operations and outsourced life operations and will work with internal and operational staff to maintain, document, implement, and monitor appropriate insurance compliance processes and procedures for worksite life business, an emerging middle market program business and various blocks of traditional life insurance and annuity policies. Responsibilities: • Maintains or develops compliance processes and procedures in support of primary business operations. • Monitors and advises regarding compliance performance and processes of third party administrators (†TPAs†) as may provide administration services with respect to policies.• Supervises two professionals responsible for compliance matters.

  • Reports directly to the CEO and works alongside legal team members.
