Description

Under general supervision, provides support for the Compliance Management Program, including researching risks, identifying issues, reporting, training and other duties.

Responsible for management of the firm’s Compliance Management Program, reporting to the Compliance Program Manager. Communicate, assist and support all aspects of originations and servicing for the firm including regulatory and legislative changes, compliance policies, procedures and internal (audit, quality control, etc.) and external (Fannie Mae and other third party) requirements.

Work with LOBs and Compliance leadership to develop compliance programming that provides oversight, training, monitoring and testing of the company’s processes and procedures to ensure compliance.

Primary Responsibilities

Provide ongoing guidance, support and reporting to the organization to promote a progressive and sustainable compliance culture

·

Prepare and provide updates for monthly internal and external compliance reports

·

Prepare compliance reports to present to management

·

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

·

Formulate risk-based written compliance policies and procedures

·

Develop various materials for use on Compliance Department’s intranet site

·

Coordinate training material and monitoring records and the distribution of regulatory information to appropriate personnel

·

Development and implementation of the annual compliance plan as it relates to lending

·

Develops and updates (and/or supervises such) compliance review work papers, compliance procedures, training materials and implements portions of the compliance training program

·

Responds to internal and external inquiries and requests for information to clarify regulatory requirements

·

Researches and develops analytical reports and solutions for issues being addressed by the Compliance Department

·

Ensure the firm is prepared for all exams and audits, including defining, developing and implementing forward-looking services to help proactively prepare for exams

·

Assist in management of projects and/or releases through all phases of the development life cycle, including authoring project related documentation
