Monitor changes in applicable laws and regulations and provide support to the management of the Bank in interpreting and understanding lending laws and regulations. Ensure that Bank Policies, Operating Procedures and Systems are sufficient to comply with banking laws and regulations, including HMDA, fees and interest rate calculations, related marketing materials, account transaction requirements and limits, funds availability, and related deposit and loan account documentation and disclosures. Research deposit, electronic banking, mobile banking and loan compliance questions/issues from bank personnel and provide accurate and timely responses. Assist in development, maintenance and execution of appropriate lending and deposit regulation compliance, quality assurance and testing programs. Assist in reviewing credit related and deposit related marketing and advertising copy. Periodically review and audit the bank's HMDA compliance program to ensure that all required HMDA data is collected and input on the Loan Application Register. Review and/or assist in the preparation of the annual HMDA submissions to the Federal Reserve by March 1 of each year. Identify potential compliance issues, assist in developing training materials and assist in the facilitation of the development and delivery of related training programs to Bank employees. Conduct research to keep abreast of changing laws and regulations relating to deposit account, electronic banking, dormant accounts, abandoned property, HMDA, CRA and other regulatory compliance laws and regulations. Assist business unit managers in interpreting banking laws and regulation.
Minimum requirement of five years banking experience working with deposits or loans. Must possess basic PC skills and knowledge of all Microsoft office products.
