Summary: Responsible for performing certain compounding duties including encapsulation, syringing of creams as well as packaging of pre-made creams and capsules. This position is also responsible to help with bagging of prescriptions as well as helping to maintain the compounding lab.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to two years of compounding experience.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for encapsulating capsules.
Verifies capsule weights are within range.
Manages pre-made station which includes counting capsules, re-packaging creams into the correct container and updating lot and expiration dates in RX30.
Helps to maintain the workflow in the lab by bagging completed prescriptions and putting away stock.
Performs daily cleaning, such as keeping capsule machines in working order, cleaning counters, equipment and windows, emptying trash and filling and/or unloading dishwasher.
Maintain capsule inventory and re-order as necessary.
Maintains dependability and levels of confidentiality.
Works well with various personalities and able to work as a team.
Performs other duties as assigned.
