Anthelio Healthcare Solutions is looking for a qualified Computer Operator to join the team in support of its Baton Rouge Data Center for daily processing duties, systems and Data Center monitoring, smart eyes/hand support, racking/stacking/cabling/labeling tasks, and regularly scheduled data backup maintenance.

q Monitors computer systems jobs, message queues and hardware/OS for errors or problems, and follows documented procedures to escalate as appropriate.

q Assist with technology installation to include securing of cabinets, racking of equipment, and cabling of devices

q Provide onsite support for device troubleshooting to include power cycles/reboots, cable testing/replacement, and media handling support

q Provide on-site vendor support for maintenance, break/fix, and/or upgrades

q Ensure that the facility inventory is updated and accurate on a regular basis, based upon moves, adds, and changes

q Perform data center walk-through during each shift to check for abnormal conditions such as unlocked cabinets/cages, unlocked PDUs, audible/visual alarms on equipment

q Understand the facility support systems (power, HVAC, fire detection/suppression, security); respond to alarms in accordance with department procedures

q Must be able to understand and follow documented procedures.

q Follows shift checklist and documented procedures to ensure production jobs are executed according to schedule and are completed successfully.

q Monitors Data Center environmentals, such as FM200, air conditioning, UPS, generator, temperature, humidity and cameras for identified Data Centers. Follows documented procedures to escalate as appropriate.

q Troubleshoots and resolves basic system problems. Follows documented procedures to escalate as appropriate.

q Prints, bursts and distributes reports and forms according to documented distribution procedures

q Monitors, acknowledges, resolves and documents problem tracking tickets throughout shift and responds to priority pages according to documented procedures.

q Restores and reprints reports as necessary.

q Executes tape management processes to ensure an accurate tape inventory and tracking, including onsite and offsite copies.

q Completes daily status reports of shift for review by information systems staff.

q Must be able to update procedures, checklists and other documentation as required.

q Must have reliable transportation for report delivery to remote locations.

q Experience with IBM mainframe/mid-range/Intel hardware, operating systems, printers preferred, including, but not limited to AS400/OS400, MVS/ESA, RS6000/AIX, ALPHA/VMS and/or HP UNIX.

q A+, MCSE, and/or CCNA certifications preferred or equivalent work experience

q Minimum of 3 to 4 years experience, preferably in a data center or tech support environment. Previous data center experience is required or equivalent work experience

q Must possess strong customer service attitude and interpersonal skills

q Experience with report distribution and job scheduling software preferred.

q Experience with Tape Management process preferred.

q Must possess strong organizational skills.

q Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.

q Must be flexible in work schedule, manage time efficiently, be able to multitask projects and handle multiple locations in stressful situations.

q Must possess analytical skills to identify, resolve and escalate issues.

q Must adhere to the dress code policies.

q Must conduct oneself in a respectful, professional and ethical manner.
