Responsible for interpreting and adjusting production processing schedules as appropriate, monitoring system performance and identifies system abnormalities, and overseeing console operation and management of all operating environments

Monitor Computer Systems

Maintain published production schedules; may suggest adjustments to the schedule as appropriate

Documents any problems or abnormalities that occur per documentation guidelines

Escalates problems to the appropriate on-call staff, equipment vendor, or manager; assists in efforts to resolve the situation

Communicates production problems to affected users

Completes daily check off lists and logs and communicates relevant information to following shift.

After hours, takes Service Desk calls and respond per defined procedure; escalates calls as appropriate


High School diploma required

Minimum 2 years of similar experience as a Computer Operator/Technical Support

Working knowledge of networks/shared drives/servers as it relates to end-user support

Highly self-motivated and directed; Strong customer service orientation

Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Good communication/interpersonal skills

Adapts quickly to change

Ablility to work 3rd Shift hours
