Things you should know if you would like to work for us in this position:
What We Offer
Why put this up front? Because we hate job descriptions that don't tell you
how much the job pays just as much as you do! We will ask for and verify your
salary history as part of the application process and think it's fair to tell
you how much we plan to pay.
The numbers below are for a part-time position.
Up to $25 per hour 1 . Amount will depend on salary history, experience, and
Paid Time Off:
Sick, personal, and holiday pay.
Profit Sharing Bonus:
Employees will earn a bonus based on how profitable our company is each year.
While we do ask our employees to work in a normal 9-5 M-F work week, we
try to be flexible when schedule changes are needed.
Its easy to say, harder to do. We all need to make a living, our company
needs to be successful in the marketplace, hard decisions sometimes need to
be made. But, at the end of the day, we really care about our employees,
their families, their needs, and their desires.
Company Structure & Responsibilities
Since we are a small company, the opportunity exists for you to have
significant input in the technical, and sometimes global, direction of our
company. There isn't really a "management structure" or any red-tape to
wade through. You will be regularly working with and reporting to one of
the partners of the company.
Daily responsibilities primarily consist of troubleshooting basic computer,
network, software, email, Microsoft Office, and Windows problems including virus
cleanup. Bonus points for being able to handle Active Directory and Exchange.
We are a small shop and other needs come up. You should be willing to work
on projects or otherwise contribute to the company in areas outside your
"job description." If we have a slow day, you shouldn't mind grabbing a
broom and dustpan to help out. Bonus points for being the kind of person
that would pick up the broom and dustpan on a slow day without being asked.

To be an ideal candidate for this position, you should be/have:
Integrity : honest, trustworthy, reliable, ethical. We have high moral

Good work ethic : you work hard and like to work hard.
You also work efficiently, seeking to make the best use of your time.
Dedicated : you really desire to contribute to and
improve our company; you are not just earning a paycheck. You demonstrate a

all resources at your disposal in an efficient manner to troubleshoot. You

thought of solving a problem in an entirely new technology, one you
have never even heard of before, excites you.

able to "role with the punches."
Professional : at the end of the day, you like what you
do, you take your job seriously, you do it extremely well, and you
pay attention to the details !

Obviously, the danager of putting wages out here this early in the
game is that it can lead to incorrect expectations. We understand how
important wages are when considering a job. We also understand how
important managing payroll budgets is to the long-term health of our
company. : ) For candidates that make it to the interview process, we will
discuss compensation early on to make sure that piece of the puzzle fits
before going further in the interview & testing process.
