Computer Systems Consultant (Senior Principal Consultant) position available at Oracle America, Inc. in Chicago, IL. Analyze financial, business, and all other related data processing problems for application to electronic data processing systems. Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. Specifically, develop and lead detailed solutions for moderately complex projects related to the Financial Modules of Oracle E-Business Suite Application. Advise and influence customer management on software process direction/decisions. Anticipate project risks and make corrective recommendations to project manager. Resolve moderately complex customer issues by recommending and implementing software solutions. Demonstrate multiple business process expertise within one product family; or ability to architect and design technology solutions for one technology product and understand cross stack impacts. Provide technical leadership to a team of consultants on a project. Duties also include: requirement gathering, gap analysis, functional specification documentation, design, application configuration, quality assurance (QA), and integration testing. Utilizes graduate-level research and analysis skills. Requires Masters degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, Engineering or related technical field and 5 years of work experience in job offered or 5 years of work experience in a computer software-related occupation. Education or experience must include: 1. Design, development, test and implement computer software in ERP arena; 2. Requirement gathering, analysis, system design, configuration and application; implementation in finance domain; and 3. Demonstrate multiple business process expertise within one product family; or ability to architect and design technology solutions for one technology product and understand cross stack impacts. Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States. 8:00AM - 5:00PM, Mon-Fri; $91,333 - 138,250/year, standard company benefits.
