Position Summary: Under general supervision: support user requests or problem-solve regarding computer hardware and/or software. Investigate, troubleshoot and follow-up on user requests or problems. Coordinate problem resolution with other members of user support team. A minimum of 6 months experience in the computer technology field is required.
Minimum Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of Windows 8/7/2000/XP operating systems and MS Office 2010 & 2007 suite. Basic troubleshooting and problem solving skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to install and troubleshoot hardware and software, respond to online tech support tickets and communicate technical information to end users. Customer service or Help Desk experience is required. A minimum of 6 months experience in the technology field is also required. Knowledge of client/server databases and intranet/internet networking is a plus. Novell experience preferred, but not required. Workstudy eligible.
