We are currently seeking a Concessions Manager at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL home of Alabama's Crimson Tide.

This position manages the concessions area to ensure timely food production, quality guest services and sanitation of stands at all times.

Assist in the development of short and long term financial and operational plans. Monitor the performance of the unit through verification and analysis of customer satisfaction and financial analysis. Maintain product and service quality standards by conducting ongoing evaluations and investigating customer concerns. Recommend and maintain a pro-active human resource function to ensure employee motivation, training, development and compliance. Hire, terminate, discipline, evaluate performances and develop each employee to their potential. Recommend, implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs. Assist in the maintenance of a security function. Assist in the development of programs that result in increased customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Comply with established Company policies and procedures. Comply with all applicable state, local and federal laws and regulations. Ensure proper, accurate, and timely production records in order to service guests and control food cost. Verify and maintain inventory at established levels. Coordinate activities with Hourly Supervisors, Non-Profit Coordinator, SMG Event Managers, and other departments when necessary. Ensure all cash handling procedures are in effect at all times. Perform an inventory of chargeable items in each stand prior to arrival of staff members. Perform a monthly inventory of non chargeable items at months end. Implement and enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness and maintenance.
