This position will coordinate successful Exhibitor Events in support of NAVSEA Strategic Communications Goals. Candidate must have familiarity with exhibit operations, floor plan development, booth design, layout and narrative descriptions. Strong customer service and organizational skills with critical attention to details; proven experience in budgeting, invoicing and tracking financial expenditures associated with symposiums. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Must be available to work weekend/evening hours as required. Must demonstrate ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Must have ability to formulate visually creative displays solutions based on a wide range of budget resources. Needs strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications; Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

The Exhibit Coordinator will provide support for NAVSEA Exhibit Programs to include managing the development of yearly exhibit themes for major expositions and identifying and leasing appropriate display furniture, audio/visual equipment, and exhibit hardware; printing of graphic elements/panels to support selected design; and supporting exhibit operations during annual expositions. Responsibilities will include leasing required space at current government rates; attending design meetings; and handling all administrative matters associated with exposition planning.

Exhibit Coordinator will work within a larger team and provide support for ongoing initiatives in NAVSEA Public Affairs, to include speechwriting, exhibit services, photography support, print, photo, video, digital signage and multimedia support. The contractor public affairs Support Team augments existing staff and provides critical assistance in development of communication messages for NAVSEA.


Associates Degree in management or related field of study required.


Must be able to work independently and have experience successfully tracking public exhibits calendar, entry and deadline dates for assigned public symposiums. Must demonstrate familiarity with Navy mission, organization and terminology. Minimum 8 years’ experience in Exhibit Coordination required. Previous relevant military-related exhibitor experience a plus.

Must be eligible for or possess a SECRET clearance

Physical Requirements

Must be able to travel to symposiums, conferences and other Public Affairs Office (PAO)-related events as required in the performance of duties.
