Specific Job Description
This position is at Hurlburt Field, FL
The candidate will perform Data Management and Documentation Configuration Management duties that will include, but are not limited to, tracking and maintaining Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) and other documentation under CM/DM control consistent with contract requirements.
Responsible for ensuring baseline control and on-time delivery of contract deliverables; verify CDRL products comply with document formatting requirements before releasing to customer; perform audits to confirm compliance with CM/DM policies.
Develop new and improve existing CM/DM practices in the form of Contractor Operating Instructions and Work Instructions. Communicate, coordinate and promote CM/DM policies and practices across the program. Apply knowledge and expertise to the development and tailoring of CM/DM tools. Act as a liaison to customer/program management and provide CM/DM reports as necessary. Perform others duties as assigned by the CM Lead.
The selected candidate must be well organized, able to multi-task, detail oriented and have the ability to work under pressure with changing priorities. Accuracy and timeliness are a must when working in this environment.
The DM also maintains all program and site document templates for currency in accordance with the CM Plan.

Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities. Ensures that customer requirements are implemented and reviews change accounting activity to ensure compliance with configuration management policies.
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3 years of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered experienced, but still a learner.
