Minimum Skills/Certifications:
A Bachelor's Degree in related field and 5 years of experience or 12 years of experience in lieu of the Degree is desired.

Certification as a Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) as well as at least 3 years experience on large scale network is required.

Individual must have a strong working knowledge of MS Active Directory, Windows 2003, Windows/AD support tools, MS SMS, MS SQL Server, Visual Basic (and/or other scripting tools), MS Exchange Server 2003, MOM, MS Office products.

Desired Skills:
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) is highly desired.

Experience working with the Military is a plus.

Primary Duties, Responsibilities, & Essential Job Functions:
Possess a current TS/SCI and may be required to submit to a Counterintelligence Scope Polygraph.

Knowledge of SCCM and SCOM product suite (SCCM Administrator Console, Remote tools, Software Distribution, Inventory, Software Metering, SCCM Server components and Operating System Deployment), SCOM Administrator and Operator Console, Microsoft SQL 2005, and Windows Server 2003.

SCCM 2007 deployment and infrastructure knowledge including troubleshooting, design, and implementation experience.

Desktop imaging best practices (familiarity with BDD/MDT 2007 a plus).

SMS Packaging updates.

Deploying updates with Systems Management Server or System Center Configuration Manager
  • Reporting with Systems Management Center Systems Management Server or SCCM 2007.
Scripting experience.

Knowledge of Sysprep, WinPE, and image deployment methods such as Lite-Touch.

Packaging experience (Wise Studio or Install Shield experience with VBscript and SMS packaging.

Deployment experience should be Systems Management Server and or System Center Configuration Manager.

Reporting experience should be based on the SMS database.

Track issues to ensure that all identified problems have been resolved before product release.

Configure server technologies such as AD, DNS, DHCP, SMS, IIS SQL Server, etc.

Provide incident and problem resolution; rapid response to field requests and logged incidents; resolve MOM alerts.

Systems administration, troubleshooting, scripting, security administration of the INSCOM AD/Exchange environment Create/manage Group Policies, sites/services.

Understand FSMO roles.

Manage user accounts and permissions.

Interact positively with customers in all situations including those which are highly sensitive or politically charged.

Produce and present comprehensive documentation relating to pertinent issues to team members and management.
