Responsible for recruitment of participants into the Biospecimen Repository Core Facility (BRCF) for cancer research. This includes identifying individuals who fit the study and health criteria for recruitment, contacting patients and administering informed consent. This position reports directly to the Facility Supervisor for the BRCF.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant experience. Must possess knowledge to effectively use computers and database. This position will have daily interaction with patients and clinicians, therefore candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must possess superb time management skills; be well-organized and highly motivated.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred experience base is as follows:
  • Familiarity with medical terminology.
  • Experience in customer service.
  • Experience in interacting with patients.
