  • Prepare consolidated daily P&L Reports for internal distribution to senior management, for all regions domestic and international
  • Run P&L systems in cooperation and coordination with P&L analysts
  • Prepare and compile daily P&L commentary for internal reporting for all modes (final and estimates)
  • Analyze and describe material variances between the daily flash and final P&L reports for review by senior management
  • Manage/update consolidated reports and files
  • Monitor adjustments to P&L reporting system
  • Perform backtesting on P&L to VaR to validate accuracy of results and internal risk models
  • Ensure accurate recording of trading, interest and futures adjustments in P&L
  • Liaise between other P&L analysts, operations, management, risk and external reporting addressing inquiries and requests
  • Continue enhancement of Business Unit Control efforts including suggesting recommendations for process efficiencies and analytical enhancements
  • Consolidate daily/monthly Key Performance Indicators for presentation to senior management. Monitor trends and make recommendations for changes as needed, support process change initiatives
  • Track and report on monthly Trader P&L Sign offs, escalate issues as needed where deadlines not met
  • Assist BUC in trading book opening, maintenance, and closing
  • Assist with ad hoc projects on a periodic basis
  • BS/BA degree required, preferably in Accounting / Finance
  • Strong team player, able to leverage peers for maximum efficiency
  • Diligent accuracy is mandatory
  • Excellent time management, able to prioritize and manage several competing responsibilities while meeting firm deadlines
  • Ability to work under time pressure and excel in a stressful and dynamic environment
  • Strong organizational skills and detail-orientated
  • Ability to communicate (written and oral) with all levels of employees
  • Skilled in developing process efficiencies and improvements within analytical functions
  • Comply with firm attendance requirements
