Consolidation Accountant Scope of Position Reporting directly to the Director of Consolidation, the Consolidation Accountant will apply his/her knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures, and will work as part of the Consolidation Department. The Consolidation Accountant will understand and meet the needs of the Corporate Consolidation Department at the parent company EDF EN in Paris, France. The employee will be in charge of the consolidation of the Budget and Reforecast phases in Business Objects Financial Consolidation (BOFC). The Consolidation Accountant will work closely with members of the EDF-RE FCP&A team, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and Controlling Departments, the Executive Management team, our French parent-company EDF EN – a publicly traded company-, and their corresponding KPMG auditors.

Working Conditions 95% of the time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers as well as other office equipment. This will comprise the frequent use of phones, general office equipment, and various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite products, SAP, and Business Object Financial Consolidation (BOFC).

Responsibilities
· Manage and review all Paris deliverables related to consolidation of Budget & Reforecast phases.
· Validate and upload BPC and Excel data for Budget and Forecast phases into BOFC
· Manage scopes and packages in BOFC, and address any Consolidation issues
· Provide support for the sub-consolidation of Canadian entities
· Manage the consolidation process for Mexico
· Oversee and validate the breakdown of flows, cost centers, debt, intercompany, and clearing of controls
· Reconcile BOFC output to approve management reporting.
· Review and finalize other supplemental data requests from EDF En
· Review and enter top entries to capture budget and forecast phase data
· Analyze intercompany for North America scope
· Communicate with Paris regarding accounting issues
· Develop models to standardize inputs into BOFC for company M&A activity
· Manage and validate, via Magnitude templates, Capex, Net Debt, and working capital.
· Other duties as assigned by the Director of Consolidation or his/her designee.

Qualifications
· 2-4 years of progressive consolidation experience required.
· Proven ability working with Business Objects Financial Consolidation consolidation software. SAP, BPC experience is highly preferred.
· Experience with Microsoft office suite; must possess particularly strong Excel skills and be knowledgeable in Word and Outlook.
