CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER

Job Description

Work as an engineer in our Construction Division for a rapidly growing construction and engineering company working in the Building/Facilities Field. Perform design and construction engineering tasks in the office and field in horizontal and vertical construction projects for federal, state, municipal and private clients throughout New England and the Mid-Atlantic. Projects include a wide variety new construction and renovations. Interpret and prepare plans and specifications. Work with project management to assist in management and technical direction of projects.

Requirements
  • Must be proficient with interpreting plans and specifications.
  • Must be experienced in construction monitoring tasks including interpretation of civil/site work, building and architectural drawings. Ability to maintain accurate records is a necessity.
  • Will be required to assist with preparing statements of work, submittals, change management and necessary daily and weekly reporting.
  • Must be detail-oriented and a practical thinker able to solve office and job-site problems and interface effectively with all building disciplines (civil, arch, MEP, etc.).
